Four-Wheel Drive Services
Four wheel drive systems are intended to deliver the maximum amount of torque to each wheel while preventing tyre slippage. The term "four-wheel-drive" typically refers to a system that may be turned on and off. It's only for when there's a lack of traction. When you engage 4-wheel drive, the transfer case locks the front driveshaft to the rear driveshaft, distributing half of the torque produced by the engine to each axle. A four-wheel-drive car has higher traction than a two-wheel-drive vehicle.
